A Second Life account
Some modules also reference Second Life tools such as unpackers, demo systems, and redelivery systems, which may require a separate in-world purchase. I'll walk you through exactly what you need.
📌 Important Notes
This course is designed primarily for Second Life creators. While modeling and texturing techniques can apply to other platforms, the rigging and upload workflows are demonstrated specifically for Second Life.
A free mesh body dev kit is included for rigging practice. Testing your nails in-world requires mesh upload access and a compatible mesh body (available in-world for approximately L$1000).
All sales are final. Due to the digital nature of this course, refunds are not provided once access has been granted.

Frequently asked questions
Is this course beginner friendly?
Absolutely! Even with little to no Blender experience you can do well in this course. One of my students started with basically zero Blender knowledge and has been doing amazing
Between the beginner resources, the community of students and alumni, and live module reviews where I personally go over material and answer questions you are never on this path alone. As long as you're willing to be patient and practice, you'll surprise yourself with how much you grow!
I have a busy schedule..can I still take the course?
Absolutely! The course is completely self paced so you learn on your own time and move at whatever speed works for you. No pressure, no deadlines for the lessons themselves
I'm not a creator can I still take the course?
Yes! Not everyone who takes this course wants to open a store and that's completely fine
Some people learn for personal enjoyment, others want to do backend work like meshing for other creators (which is honestly a very lucrative lane) Take some time to explore the website and figure out what fits your personal goals. The full course covers the entire process start to finish, but individual modules and bundles are also available if you only want to learn specific parts!
Will we learn how to mesh toenails?
The current course focuses on fingernails only so toenails are not covered at this time. However it's something I'd love to explore adding in the future!

Module 0: Set up + Getting Started
Get everything set up before we begin. In this module, you'll set up Blender, and learn how to navigate the course, access your resources, and get the most out of your learning experience.
💅🏽 Module 1: Basic Nail Modeling
This foundational module teaches you how to model popular nail shapes including square, tapered square, coffin, stiletto, almond, lipstick, and duck nails. You’ll learn essential techniques for building clean nail meshes with smooth curves and proper dimension.
💎 Module 2: Charm & Gem Modeling
This module teaches you how to create the charms, gems, and decorative elements that transform basic nails into finished designs. You’ll learn modeling techniques for creating dimensional charms, sparkling gems, pearls, bows, rhinestones, and custom decorative pieces that can be applied to nails or sold separately as accessories.
🎨 Module 3: Advanced Nail & Gem Texturing
This module teaches professional texturing workflows using Adobe Substance Painter and Photoshop. You’ll learn how to unwrap nail and charm meshes, create clean texture layouts, and apply realistic finishes including glossy, matte, metallic, and gem effects.
🧍🏽♀️ Module 4: Nail Rigging Made Simple
This module breaks down the rigging process in a simple, beginner-friendly way so you can prepare your nail sets for in-world use. You’ll learn how to properly prepare your meshes in Blender 3.6, optimize them before export, and then move into Blender 2.79 to rig your nails using Avastar.
📸 Module 5: Visual Branding & Ad Creation
This module shows you how to create clean, eye-catching ads for your nail sets. You'll learn how to take good product photos, create realistic renders in Blender, and design vendor images that look professional and organized.
🛍️ Module 6: Releasing Your First Nail Set
This final module walks you through everything needed to release your first professional nail set in Second Life. From uploading and packaging to pricing and marketing, you’ll learn the full workflow for launching a successful product.
